For the past 15 years, I have designed and created websites. I specialize in Web Accessibility, and have in depth knowledge of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), along with a Master's Degree in Computer Science. Prior to that, I coded in C/C++ for companies ranging from Intel to Thomson/Reuters.

Teaching has always been a parallel interest, starting at Gallaudet University where I taught computer software in American Sign Language. More recently, I created and ran both the Boston Area Technology Classes for Women Meetup (also known as smartyGirl.org) and smartyKid.org, a summer technology camp for Middle School girls.
